Ski Tour Iceland

Trip Length:  8 days, 7 nights
Trip Type: Ski Touring, with extensive Activity (advanced ski touring)

The trip is based in the fishing village of Olafsfjordur on the Troll Peninsula where you’ll have access to 3 different mountain ranges and practically endless possibilities for skiing fresh tracks every day. This versatile terrain is made up of peaks ranging between 800 and 1100 meters so there’s always great skiing in variable conditions. At the end of the day, you can find a warm place to relax your muscles in Iceland’s natural hot springs. With the continual daylight of the Arctic Sun overhead and mild temperatures, snow conditions remain favorable with great corn skiing and often powder well into mid May.
